The TRIO 向上的束缚 program is a federally-funded college preparation program designed to improve skills and to increase knowledge and motivation in high school students (potential first-generation college students) for their success in a post-secondary educational program. The program is funded to serve 60 9th-12th grade students at Ball High School per year. Participants should have the potential to succeed in a post-secondary educational program with guidance and support through holistic academic advising, college and 乐竞体育 development, a rigorous curriculum, and exposure to experiential learning opportunities.

TRIO programs are funded under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and are administered by the U.S. Department of Education.
These programs are designed to serve primarily individuals from low-income families where neither parent has earned a four-year college degree.
