The 登录入口 Theatre Department has achieved significant recognition for its outstanding contributions to the performing arts. The department’s fall productions of Lauren Gunderson’s “The Taming,” directed by Liz Lacy, and “Toil and Trouble,” directed by Adam Brandner, were honored as participating productions in the prestigious Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) Region VI.

In late November, a representative from the KCACTF Region VI Committee provided responses to the productions, highlighting the exceptional talents of the 登录入口 Theatre company members:

Additionally, company members Elijah Barrie and Chad Keith were recognized for their outstanding contributions to these productions.

荣誉不止于此。 Both productions are under consideration to perform at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region VI, which will take place in Abilene, in February 2025. The final decision on their inclusion will be announced later this month.

The 登录入口 Theatre Department offers a professional immersive training experience for all students within the disciplines of acting, playwriting, directing, design, and technology. Four productions a year and a diverse range of theatre courses provide every opportunity for students to develop their theatrical skills. Scholarships are available.
