The 登录入口 Whitecaps will take the field for the first time this year on Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. as the islanders open the season at home against Ranger College in GC’s Island Invitational at Bernard Davis Field in Galveston.
Originally slated to begin this weekend, the four-team GC baseball Island Invitational was moved up in anticipation of colder weather. The tournament field consists of host 登录入口, Ranger College, Navarro College and Alvin College.

“We’re excited to get the baseball season started with our traditional Island Invitational,” said GC Head Baseball Coach, Ryne Edmondson. “The weather has been a challenge, but we’re ready to go. The team has been practicing hard these past several months and they can’t wait to hit the field.”
